    Murat Yıldız is the founder and editor-in-chief of Bosphorus News. He is an investigative journalist, editor and producer focused on Türkiye, the Eastern Mediterranean, diplomacy, political economy, organized crime and cross-border networks. His reporting and media work has covered issues including human trafficking, illicit organ-trade networks, regional security and international affairs.

    His previous work spans print, online and broadcast media. Selected reporting, editorial and production credits include The Wall Street Journal, the Financial Times, The Economist, Yomiuri Shimbun, VICE News, BuzzFeed News, Le Figaro, Al Jazeera, The National, HBO and TLC, among others. He holds a graduate degree from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, with academic work focused on the Balkans and Cyprus.

    Prof. Dr. Veysel Ulusoy is an economist, academic and columnist. He is the founder and director of ENAG, the Inflation Research Group, an independent inflation research initiative producing high-frequency inflation data on Türkiye. He serves as Adjunct Professor of Economics at Boston College, teaches economics through Harvard Division of Continuing Education, and writes as a columnist for Cumhuriyet, a long-established Turkish national daily with a prominent place in the country’s press history.

    At Bosphorus News, Ulusoy chairs the editorial board, bringing academic expertise in economics, inflation, public data, institutional transparency and political economy to the publication’s editorial framework.

    Prof. Dr. Özcan Yeniçeri

    Prof. Dr. Özcan Yeniçeri is a Turkish academic and author. He founded and chaired the international relations department at Ahmet Yesevi University in Kazakhstan and later headed its strategic research centre, AYSAM. He served as a member of the Turkish parliament for Ankara between 2011 and 2015 and has published more than twenty books.
