Türkiye will begin serial production and deliveries of the TAYFUN Block-3 ballistic missile in 2026, according to ROKETSAN CEO Murat İkinci, as the company expands production of the TAYFUN missile family.

İkinci said preparations for serial production of Block-3 were nearing completion and that both production and deliveries would begin before the end of the year. His remarks were made during TEKNOFEST in Şanlıurfa on October 3.

"TAYFUN Block-2 serial production continues and there is an intensive delivery schedule," İkinci said. He added that ROKETSAN was working to complete the remaining steps required for Block-3 production.

The company is also continuing firing tests at several locations in Türkiye. İkinci said only some of those tests are made public and that additional capabilities are being integrated into the missile family during the test program.

The shift toward Block-3 production extends a manufacturing cycle already underway for earlier TAYFUN variants. ROKETSAN said in March that serial production and deliveries of the TAYFUN ballistic missile were continuing as planned.

ROKETSAN has not publicly detailed the production volume or delivery schedule for Block-3. İkinci also did not disclose the new variant's range, warhead specifications or the full set of capabilities being added during testing.

The production decision puts two TAYFUN variants on overlapping manufacturing and delivery schedules, with Block-2 already in serial production as Block-3 enters the same phase.
