Turkish Airlines (Türk Hava Yolları, THY) won two European category awards in the 2026 APEX Best Awards, taking the regional prizes for in-flight entertainment and food and beverage service.

The Airline Passenger Experience Association (APEX) listed Turkish Airlines as Europe's winner in both Best Entertainment and Best Food & Beverage in its current Best Awards recipients list.

APEX says the awards recognize airlines across seat comfort, cabin service, food and beverage, entertainment and Wi-Fi. The food and beverage awards are presented with the International Flight Services Association (IFSA).

The European list also named Virgin Atlantic Airways as Best Overall Airline, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines for cabin service, Finnair for seat comfort and airBaltic for Wi-Fi.

In the global categories, Korean Air was named for cabin service, Emirates for entertainment, Qatar Airways for food and beverage, EVA Air for seat comfort and Delta Air Lines for Wi-Fi.

Sector reporting said the food and beverage award was Turkish Airlines' fifth in the European category and that the ceremony took place in Dublin during the Future Travel Experience EMEA, Ancillary & Retailing event.

The same reporting said APEX passenger ratings covered more than 1 million flights operated by more than 600 airlines worldwide.

The result places Turkish Airlines inside the European tier of a wider passenger experience ranking system that separates airline competition into specific service categories. Food, entertainment, Wi-Fi, seat comfort and cabin service are now measured as distinct parts of the flight experience, alongside route networks and fleet size.
