Tesla FSD Europe Rollout Puts Türkiye Status Under Spotlight

By Bosphorus News Türkiye Desk

Tesla's supervised Full Self-Driving rollout in Europe has put the Türkiye status of the system under renewed attention, as the company lists FSD-related subscription options on its Türkiye pages while still saying the supervised feature is not yet available.

The issue gained visibility after Tesla received approval to sell its supervised Full Self-Driving technology in Belgium, adding another European market to a rollout that is moving country by country rather than across the entire continent at once.

Tesla's Türkiye pages show Full Self-Driving-related options, including a monthly subscription path, but the company also states that "Full Self-Driving (Supervised)" is not yet available and may be offered in the future. It says availability depends on development and regulatory approval.

That distinction matters. Tesla's Full Self-Driving system is not a fully autonomous driving system and does not replace the driver. Tesla describes it as an advanced driver assistance feature that still requires active supervision.

Europe moves country by country

The European rollout has been shaped by national approvals and regulatory steps. Belgium's approval followed earlier movement in other European markets, while Dutch regulator RDW has stressed that approvals remain limited by scope and require further steps before broader use across Europe.

That means Türkiye's Tesla owners should not read the European news as a direct launch signal. The presence of FSD pricing or subscription language on Tesla Türkiye pages does not mean supervised FSD has been activated in the country.

The safer reading is that Tesla is preparing product and subscription infrastructure while regulatory clearance and technical availability remain separate questions.

Türkiye waits for activation clarity

Türkiye's electric vehicle market is growing quickly, with Tesla competing against Togg, Chinese EV makers and established European brands. Advanced driver assistance features are becoming part of that competition, but autonomous-driving language remains sensitive because regulation, driver responsibility and road safety all sit at the center of the issue.

The key point for Türkiye is simple: Tesla is already presenting FSD-related options to users, but the supervised feature is still not available. Any launch would need a clearer company update and regulatory path.

Until then, the Europe rollout makes Türkiye a market to watch, not a confirmed FSD launch country.
