November Traffic Hits New Highs
The flag carrier carried 7.4 million travelers last month, with overall load factor climbing to 84.5% – international at 84.3%, domestic at 86.8%.
Available seat kilometers (ASK) rose 10.3% to 22.3 billion, while external-to-external transfers jumped 18.9% to 2.9 million, underscoring Istanbul hub strength.
Cargo volumes grew 14.8% to 190,700 tons, fleet expanded to 513 aircraft serving 355 destinations – a 4.9% capacity boost.
Year-to-Date Momentum Builds
Through November, THY flew 85.3 million passengers, an 8.4% gain, with load factor steady at 83.2% (international 82.9%, domestic 86.3%).
ASK for the period increased 7.4% to 249.9 billion, revenue passenger kilometers up 8.6%; cargo hit 2 million tons, up 7.6%.
Domestic lines saw 29.6 million passengers (+3.9%) and 195,165 flights (+5%), reflecting resilient local travel post-pandemic.
