ASELSAN Unveils New Brand Identity After Crossing 2 Trillion Lira Market Value

ASELSAN introduced its new corporate identity in May 2026, replacing its long-standing visual language with a redesigned emblem and a new international motto aimed at reflecting its expanding role in the global defence and technology market.

The timing gives the rebrand added weight. ASELSAN has become the first company traded on Borsa Istanbul to exceed 2 trillion Turkish liras in market value, after reaching the 1 trillion lira threshold in September 2025. Anadolu Agency listed ASELSAN's market capitalization at 2.015 trillion liras, placing it well ahead of the next-largest listed companies.

The rebranding is therefore more than a cosmetic logo update. Internal brand documents frame the transformation as part of a broader effort to position ASELSAN as a globally recognised defence technology company operating across land, naval, air and horizon-oriented domains.

The company's new slogan, "Securing Beyond," appears throughout the branding architecture alongside domain-specific versions: "The Land," "The Sea," "The Sky" and "The Horizon." The language gives ASELSAN a single umbrella identity for systems ranging from ground platforms and naval combat technologies to air defence, sensors, satellites and future security architectures.

According to the brand guide, the redesigned emblem preserves references to ASELSAN's original logo while simplifying its structure around a central "A" form. The document links the upper point of the symbol to a drive for global leadership, while the curved lower section represents the world and reinforces the company's global positioning.

The visual system also adopts a stricter international corporate language. The guide defines "ASELSAN Blue" as the sole primary emblem colour, with RGB 0,48,135 and Pantone 287 C, while the logotype uses Eurostile Black.

ASELSAN's shift comes as Turkish defence companies increasingly compete through visibility, ecosystem partnerships and long-term export positioning, not only through product delivery. Reuters reported this week that ASELSAN plans to increase deliveries for Türkiye's Steel Dome air defence system in 2026, while also focusing on exports and double-digit growth.

The new identity reflects that transition. ASELSAN is no longer presenting itself only as a national defence supplier. It is trying to look and sound like a global systems house at a moment when defence demand, NATO procurement pressure and regional air defence requirements are reshaping the market around Türkiye.
